Converting Yang and Won correctly
One Won equals 100 million Yang in nominal value. An in-game conversion fee can change the amount you need.

Nominal value
Ten Won equal one billion Yang. Multiply Won by 100,000,000 to calculate Yang; divide Yang by that number for the reverse calculation. This says nothing about the real-money price.
The exchange fee
The Metin2 wiki lists a 3% fee when converting Yang into Won. One whole Won therefore requires 103 million Yang at the exchange. Converting Won back into Yang is fee-free according to the wiki. Our calculator separates nominal value from exchange costs.
Use matching units
Record server, quantity and unit for every offer. Ten million Yang and ten Won are different quantities. Include any transaction charges in a separate total-price comparison, not in the nominal currency conversion.
Separate nominal value from exchange
A common comparison error mixes nominal value with the cost of the in-game exchange. The calculator therefore has three separate modes. Nominal conversion changes only the unit. Exchange mode calculates how many whole Won a Yang budget yields after the stated fee and what remains. That remainder does not disappear and must not be counted as another fee. The table uses illustrative amounts, not retailer offers. Currency conversion alone does not establish a euro price.
| Input / mode | Result |
|---|---|
| 10 Won · nominal | 1,000,000,000 Yang |
| 103,000,000 Yang · exchange | 1 Won · 0 Yang left |
| 205,000,000 Yang · exchange | 1 Won · 102,000,000 Yang left |
| 206,000,000 Yang · exchange | 2 Won · 0 Yang left |
- Use nominal value for a quantity inquiry; do not automatically add an in-game fee to a retailer’s price.
- Use exchange mode when planning the in-game exchange, and record the remainder.
- Inputs are whole amounts. The calculator’s numerical limit is not an in-game storage or trading limit.
